Members & communities
People, families, employers and communities contribute toward care under agreed terms. Bring a care priority or a gap in access.
Share a care priorityVANTHEON is designing shared funding for care. The Pool commits resources to patients and care teams; Treasury carries out authorized payments. Together, they connect the care promised to the people who provide it.
An illustration of care resources, retained reserves and eligible surplus. No live balances are shown.
A member needs ongoing primary care. A named team takes responsibility for the visit, coordination and follow-up. The Pool commits funding to that care; Treasury follows through on what is owed.
Follow the care journeyAgree the care scope, responsible team and available funding before taking on the commitment.
The team delivers care and records contributions. A missed follow-up stays open with a named owner.
Recognize each earned care component under its terms. Payment need not wait for the whole care plan to close.
Treasury checks the funds, authority, amount and recipient before sending the payment.
A confirmed payment must meet the agreed receipt terms. An uncertain transfer stays open for reconciliation.
Existing obligations, available cash and required reserves constrain new commitments and distributions. Only eligible surplus can be shared. A payment delay never turns unpaid care into a saving.
Help shape the system through a conversation about care, delivery or funding.
People, families, employers and communities contribute toward care under agreed terms. Bring a care priority or a gap in access.
Share a care priorityContribute clinical work, coordination and accountable capacity. Humans, agents and robots participate, with a person or organization responsible for machine work.
Discuss care deliveryDepositors supply loss-bearing capital, with a proposed share of eligible surplus. Bring questions about participation, risks and future rights.
Discuss Pool participationProvider compensation can cover readiness, ongoing responsibility and useful work—not only favorable outcomes. PTI informs separate performance rewards and relevant Codex voting rules. Providers do not need to buy capital to earn payment.
Provider trust and contributionOne participant can hold several roles. Adopted contribution contracts can also recognize research, development, community and public-health work.
Treasury’s care-payment function uses Care Pool resources. The Network Treasury has a separate budget. Issuer backing cannot also fund care or THEON.
A proposed reserve-backed stablecoin with a one-for-one U.S. dollar redemption objective, for contributions and care payments. Holding VVAL alone earns no yield or Pool ownership.
Proposed staking, verification rewards, fees and defined governance roles. Token ownership does not replace provider trust or grant clinical authority.
Loss-bearing participation under separate capital rights. Distributions, valuation and exit terms must be established before participation opens.
Provider Trust Index (PTI) concerns human and machine providers. Validated, service-relevant performance is intended to support better incentives under adopted contracts; there is no universal PTI-to-payment multiplier. Codex governs the relevant incentive rules. Economic rewards and voting influence remain separate contracts.
Trust-Indexed Funding (TIF) allows proposed early financing before final outcome evidence. Each advance needs a purpose, recipient, amount, exposure cap, pricing if any, retained portion, repayment or reconciliation, and loss allocation. The funder records the advance as a receivable; repayment of its principal is not revenue.
Depositor distributions depend on earned surplus, care liabilities, expenses, reserves and participation rights. Losses can erode capital. Individual units, seniority, entry and exit pricing, unreported claims and recapitalization require final terms. Membership contribution adjustments likewise depend on adopted coverage and funding rules.
The whitepaper includes a worked ledger and a synthetic, cash-only Pool study: four scenarios, each with 1,000 paired paths over 36 months. The comparison retains gains or distributes half of eligible quarterly surplus after the same reserve and withdrawal checks.
Under a modeled 35% care-cost shock, negative-equity paths increased from 622 to 770 per 1,000 when surplus was distributed. Under temporary cash unavailability, due-care shortfalls increased from 588 to 706 per 1,000. These results expose a tradeoff between sharing value and retaining resilience under authored assumptions; they do not forecast returns or actual losses.
Positive expected operating balance does not prove solvency. Accounting consistency does not establish adequate capital, enforceable claims or real custody. Read the methods, uncertainty and limitations.
VVAL issuance requires eligible holders, backing assets, custody, independent verification, mint authority, redemption fees, timing and recourse. These operating terms are not established; there is no demonstrated dollar peg or operating redemption service.
Care payments need qualified evidence and financial authority. Costs, advances and withdrawals need their own authorization. Separate signers and reconciliation are proposed controls. Health records remain off chain; commitments and metadata still require privacy assessment.
Missing evidence calls for review and repair. Only people deny care. Fraud may lead to reduced trust, recovery proceedings and loss of instant approval eligibility; recording a clawback does not retrieve transferred money.
The candidate emergency policy pauses new advances, discretionary distributions and capital exit while preserving care claims and funded payments. Review, notice, appeal and authorized resumption remain necessary. A restriction cannot repurpose issuer backing or erase care obligations.
Participation remains proposed. Participant rights, risks, operating terms and the use of funds must be published before participation opens. Any allocation to care capital requires explicit loss exposure and separate accounting.
The whitepaper describes the economic design; final participation terms require separate adoption.
Mainnet is not live. VVAL and VHTH have not been issued; there is no presale, airdrop or token address. Official participation announcements will appear on this site.
This is a proposed protocol design, not an offer of tokens, insurance or investments, or a promise of returns. Participation requires established rights, structures and operating terms that meet applicable law.
